An early Flounder bite with fish around 2 pounds has been a pleasent surprise. Large Mud Minnows have been proving the best bait.Whiting are still feeding around the mouth of the Cape Fear River, But better action can be found further up river Bottom rigs baited with shrimp will get the bites.
